The University of Tulsa (TU) has announced a Cyber Innovation Institute for cybersecurity research.
The growing significance of cybercrime and the deficit of cybersecurity workforce fuel the launch of the Oklahoma Cyber Innovation Institute. Cybersecurity education has also been a concern for security leaders, with hopes to close the talent gap and increase the workforce.
TU establishes the Oklahoma Cyber Innovation Institute to attract cyber talent; implement workforce development pipelines involving constituencies from across the state; construct and/or renovate key facilities; launch innovative research programs and scale up intellectual property development and tech transfer in Oklahoma.
